What is Legal Aid? LSC-funded programs help people who live in households with annual incomes at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines – in 2021, that is $16,100 for an individual, $33,125 for a family of four. Clients come from every ethnic and age group and live in rural, suburban, and urban areas. The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) received $50 million in the $2 trillion stimulus package passed by the Senate to stabilize households and businesses affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
